Be the One: Becoming the Adult Every Young Person Deserves Leading with Connection Before Correction to Advance Belonging, Equity & Justice Every young person deserves an adult who sees beyond the behavior without ignoring its impact. Be the One is an interactive workshop that challenges youth-serving professionals to examine how assumptions and adult responses shape a young person's experience of dignity, accountability, connection, and belonging. Grounded in BRO's Connection Before Correction philosophy, participants will engage in reflection, experiential activities, and practical tools - including the S.E.E. Approach and P.A.U.S.E. Framework - to respond to young people with greater curiosity and intention while maintaining accountability. See the person. Pause the response. Protect belonging. Be the One.
